What is a Reconditioned Engine?

A reconditioned engine is an engine which has been completely stripped down and cleaned, every part is taken off, cleaned and tested to ensure they meet the manufacturer’s tolerances. Any parts which do not are replaced.

All reconditioned Land Rover engines rebuild by NWS are fitted with the following new parts regardless of tolerances:

– New uprated main and big end bearings
– New piston rings
– New uprated oil pump
– Replacement crankshaft
– Fully reconditioned cylinder heads
– Valves, springs, lifters and rockers

12 months or 30,000 miles (which ever comes first) guarantee included with all reconditioned or remanufactured engines.

What is a Remanufactured Engine?

All engines rebuilt by NWS follow strict conditions with no short cuts taken, core engines are completely stripped, cleaned and built back up with all major components being machined back to new condition and brand new parts being used which include:

– New water pump
– Fully reconditioned crank
– New uprated main and big end bearings
– New Pistons, rings and gudgeon pins
– New Timing belt kit (genuine)
– New Uprated Oil pump
– New Lifters and rockers
– New Valves and springs
– Cylinder heads (pressure tested, skimmed & valves resealed)

12 months or 30,000 miles (which ever comes first) guarantee included with all reconditioned or remanufactured engines.
